A qualified Quantity Surveyor and Construction Manager with a BSc in Construction and circa 50 years in the industry, James has a wealth of experience and knowledge of the construction industry. Before commencing employment with Kiwi Design in 2010, previous roles included Contracts, Construction and Project Manager positions for local and national General Construction and Development Companies.

One of the longest standing employees at Kiwi Design, John has always worked in construction. He started his career with a degree in Civil Engineering and joined the Kiwi Design team in November 1990 as a Project Manager, progressing through the ranks to Director level. Outside of work, he manages the Portsmouth Colts Football club, is on the committee of his local social club and is a Governor for his local primary school.

Neil studied mechanical and electrical engineering at College and went on to obtain a 2:1 degree in Electronics in Canterbury before working in London for 12 years.  He relocated from London to join Kiwi Design in 2011.  Neil is passionate about good design and the built environment. He enjoys travel, running and is a keen follower of motorsport.

With a Business & Entrepreneurship degree, Andy joined Kiwi Design over 12 years ago. After starting in Marketing he quickly moved into Sales and Estimating, with the role evolving into a one-stop Project Management position to give clients the best service. Andy is passionate about design and spends his time outside of work renovating his home.

Originally trained as a Carpenter in Joiner, David rapidly progressed into management and was a Site Manager for a major works contractor by age 23. In 1982, he moved to Dorset from Yeovil to run a small works department. He joined Kiwi Design in 1998 and has been managing some of our larger clients, such as Cobham and Bournemouth University since. David is a Sci-Fi fan and enjoys walking and sea fishing.

After completing his electrical apprenticeship, Richard started up his own company. His strong attention to detail led to several luxury home projects throughout the South as well as high quality commercial projects. In 2017, Richard moved back into the world of employment to take on a new challenge and to free up more time for adventures with his young family.

Having joined Kiwi in 1995, James has developed an encyclopaedic knowledge of Building Materials. James has a great eye for detail and huge capacity for technical specifications. He’s our go-to resource for all matters of technical procurement.  James is a keen badminton player and a lifelong supporter of Liverpool football club.

After achieving her 1st class Ecology degree, Sarah discovered her growing passion for marketing whilst working in research equipment sales. Now an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, with a passion for customer service and conscientious organisation, Sarah joined the team in 2018. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, cycling and cooking.

mARK TRIGGS

Mark joined Kiwi in June 2018 as the new in-house floor covering division and has a wealth of knowledge in commercial flooring spanning 23 years across all sectors of the construction industry. Enjoying fast paced fit-out work as much as phased construction projects, Mark has worked in the industry his entire adult life. Outside of work, Mark has a fair number of two-legged and four-legged family members that certainly keep him busy!

Our highly experienced Site Manager; Andy has worked in the construction industry for over 40 years now. He has previously worked abroad, in Germany & Spain, before joining Kiwi Design in 1998. Andy enjoys working away and has managed sites for us all over the UK. When he is back in Dorset, he enjoys going out and socialising with his friends.

Julie (Jules) Clark

Jules comes a background of office administration and has also worked as a facilities manager. After taking a break to raise a family, she lived and worked in the USA for 8 years. Soon after moving back to the UK in 2012, Jules started work at Kiwi Design. She is the “Mama Bear” of the Offices & Commercial team and loves to spend time with her family.
